My thoughts about this book :

This book should really be one of the eye opener to any human being questioning the world.

It has been written in such a clear , simple language , most of the times you go to the point of believing it fully .

But the fact remains that this is one of the important works of the man who founded ISKCON ( International Society of Krishna Consciousness ) and took Indian Spirituality to the world from where Vivekananda had left it.

Though Vivekananda thoughts were mostly free of religious bias , this work cannot be said so.

This work is based on Srimad Bhagavatam or the Bhagavad Gita.

But whatever it says is said in a so simple manner that even anybody can understand it and believe it also . This is one of the main strengths of this book.

Questions for which answers are available in this book .

1. What is Karma ?
2. Who is Krishna ?
3. What is Krishna Consciousness ?
4. What is the best way to learn about the world ?
5. What are the forms of energies in this world ?
6. What about Reincarnation ?
7. What is maya ?
8. Why someone suffers and someone enjoys, though the world has everything for everyone. ?

You have to read this book to know the answers .

One of the main weaknesses of this book is that there are some answers , which are being said that "YOU just need to accept it ". No questions shall be asked. Not everyone will agree with this blind obedience.

And at the end , I think an unnecesary diversion is the Peace Formula for the World.

And the Peace Formula is chanting "Hare Rama Hare Rama , Hare Krishna Hare Krishna" . I dont agree with this.

But above all , It gave me an insight into one of the most revered scriptures in the world and the people who treat the scripture as GOD.

Cheers
Megarajan
